Notes: The Organ were a band that stopped before they had a chance to start. Formed by frontwoman (and model) Katie Sketch, they quickly found their sound in organ-driven post-punk/indie pop. Sadly, they fizzled out quickly under a mountain of hype and went into seperate solo projects. Katie’s vocals bring to mind Debbie Harry or i would even say a female Morrissey. Their song structure, melodies and guitar interplay borrow heavily from Seventeen Seconds-era Cure or The Sound.
For fans of: The Cure, Joy Division, The Smiths, Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls, organs, bellowing vocals, canadian all girl post-punk
