Notes: This is the 4th album from the Brooklyn-based group. They sharply moved away from their noise-educated tribal sound and into an avant-dance world. Lots of overwhelming drum patterns and raw synth lines, it’s also the first album to put Liz Bougatsos vocals out in the forefront. It’s even got a little bit of Grime & (*gasp*) Dubstep thrown in for flavor.
For fans of: These New Puritans, The Knife, Telepathe, Kate Bush, swirling synth melodies, complex drums, left-field dance music, trance leads
